Second Career
Second Career is an MTCU funded program for laid-off workers who lack the skills necessary to find full-time employment in the current labour market. Retraining is required to transition them into high skilled occupations that are in the local labour market.
- Counsellors work one-on-one to assess eligibility and suitability criteria for the Second Career program
- Eligible Individuals may receive financial assistance with the cost of tuition, books, living expenses, and other costs associated with training
